The Golden Rule
Just as you want men to do to you, do the same way to them. (Luke 6:31)
With these few simple words during his famous Sermon on the Mount - often referred to as "The Golden Rule" - Jesus made a statement that has had a profound impact on human relations. Even non-Christians have been compelled to acknowledge the power of this Sermon, as, for example, the Hindu leader Mohandas (Mahatma) Gandhi, who is reported to have said to Lord Irwin, a former viceroy of India: “When your country and mine shall get together on the teachings laid down by Christ in this Sermon on the Mount, we shall have solved the problems not only of our countries but those of the whole world.” - quoted from Treasury of the Christian Faith, 1949, edited by S. I. Stuber and T. C. Clark, page 43.

The Level of Service We Strive to Provide
We realize that selling items of gold can be a difficult experience. Many times, these items have a sentimental or emotional component. While no one can put a dollar value on emotion, we can and do respect the fact that parting with these items can be difficult, especially if they were given by or once belonged to a loved one. That is why we always strive to be respectful of both you and your privacy, and to treat you with the utmost honesty and dignity.
Selling your old gold can also be difficult because it isn't something most people do every day. It can be like taking your car to the mechanic for an oil change and being told you need a new engine. Unless you know a lot about cars, you only have his word to go on. There is always the fear in the back of your mind that you may be getting taken. That is why we always check and weigh your gold items in front of you. If we have any doubt or question about an item, we will express it directly to you. If it turns out that we believe an item is not the same level of purity as indicated by the stamping or other indicators, we will explain why we can't buy it, or why we can only buy it at a lower price. We believe that trust is our biggest selling point, and open and honest communication is the only way to gain your trust. After all, we want you to come back to us the next time you need our services. And we want you to feel free to recommend us to your family and friends.
Who We Are
We are a local, family-owned business operating out of the South Kansas City Metro Area. We operate by appointment only, which frees us from the expense and overhead involved with maintaining an office or storefront. It also allows us to offer a higher price when we buy gold. Too, it allows us greater flexibility in scheduling and we strive to set up appointments on your schedule. If you need to sell gold TODAY, we will do our utmost to meet with you at your convenience, normally in a public location (like a local coffeehouse). We come to you; we don't make you come to us.
We arrange to meet with you in a public location for a variety of reasons. First, it allows us to find a time and place convenient to you. Second, it allows you greater privacy and security. You don't know us personally (although we hope to change that soon) and you probably don't want us coming to your home. Having to part with such personal items can be difficult enough without having the privacy of your home invaded. And third, it is more secure because no one knows where we will be meeting except for you and us. When there are large amounts of valuable items in question, it is better not to advertise their presence.
However, if there is a reason to meet at our office - perhaps for a particularly large transaction or if you simply are not comfortable meeting at a public place - we can arrange that when you call to set up the appointment. Please be aware, though, that this arrangement somewhat limits the flexibility we have in setting up appointments.
